Trello trouble in iOS, and how to quickly set relative due dates! 🗓
Plus advanced checklist best practices, JiraCon, and more!
Short newsletter this week as things have been a little quiet! I think we’re all in vacation mode 😎
New in Trello
Having trouble with the Trello iOS app? You’re not alone. But it should be fixed now!

Have you signed up for JiraCon? (I’m planning to give a talk about transitioning from Trello to Jira, just in case you’re like me and your team MUST use Jira instead 😊 )
Trello How-To
Set relative due dates on your Trello card with one click with this PixieBrix extension I built! (Yes, you can technically make a bunch of Butler buttons that do something similar, but I preferred having a quick dropdown rather than searching for the right button.)

Creative Use Case
Do you ever have a big even and get tired of having to text a thousand different people updates about what’s going on? I made a video a few months ago showing how you can use Trello as a status updater.
Basically, create a public board, share the link, and then create a new card every time you have an update!
(If people want updates, you can add them to the board and they can “watch” it to get notifications whenever a new card is added!)
More Productivity/Automation
My brain was on 🔥 this past weekend building all sorts of stuff. If you’re into automation, definitely head to my YouTube channel and check out all the content from past week, but this is my favorite. I found a way to automate a checklist appearing in the side of my browser, and hides my “Create pull request” button until I complete the checklist!
Super useful for developers, but even if you don’t code, you can apply this to anything else that you want to hide a button and force yourself to go through a quality control checklist before creating something!

Loved the poll in this week's edition!
