Edit Google Docs in Trello and Get A New Tshirt
Plus check out my workflow that brings all these videos to fruition!
Happy Thursday folks! My birthday is in three weeks, and I couldn’t be more excited. If you’re wondering what to get me, I’ll take any tech branded clothing in a size small 😂 (not kidding).
Okay, enough about my birthday, let’s get to it.
Trello Tip
Did you know you can edit Google Docs without leaving your Trello board?
Just paste the link to a Google Doc as the card name, and it will turn into a Linked Card. When you click “preview” it will open up a modal with the doc in edit mode and you can make edits without ever leaving the board!

Thanks to everyone who has provided feedback they’re enjoying the videos! I wanted to show a little behind-the-scenes magic this week, and—you guessed it—Trello is a big part of that process 😊 Here’s how these videos go from ideas in my head to your big screen.
Brittany’s Bets
I’d love for you all to join the PM72 Summit happening June 13-16th. It’s a virtual event for project managers!
You might think you don’t care, but if you’re into the content I produce, you’re gonna care about this event. It’s for folks like us who love to talk about better, more efficient ways to do things, and how to get shit done.
And even better - this event is totally free, and doesn’t even require you to give away your email in a registration form.
While no fee is required, they are encouraging donations to the Malala Fund! And they’ve got some pretty sweet ways to do that.
Donate during the event from June 13-16th (there are going to be prizes!)
My personal favorite…
Donate by PURCHASING SWAG! All proceeds go to Malala Fund, and yes- there’s even some limited edition How I Trello swag in there!!
So it’s a win-win.
And I’m going to make it even more win.
If you get a t-shirt, I’ll do a free 60-minute Trello best practices workshop for you (or your team). Just send me a screenshot of your receipt, and we’ll set up a time!
(I usually charge a lot more than $25 for these 😊 so even if you donate just to get that, you’re getting a huge deal - plus you’re helping a great cause and getting a super cool shirt!)
That’s all for this week folks! Enjoy your upcoming weekend!
