🌮 Dear Taco
This is a section where readers can submit their Trello questions, and each week I’ll pick one and answer it! It’s like “Dear Abby” but make it trello. Have a question you want to submit? Share it here.
Today’s question is actually from Reddit, because… i’m a bit low on Dear Taco questions! Please submit a question!
Is there a way to link checklist items from multiple cards to a single card? I am looking to compile all checklist items from an entire list to a specific card where I can then check items off and have them sync’d. please help!
And here’s the video answer!
Want to submit your question? Maybe it’ll be featured next week!
🙋 Britt’s Pick
I like listening to lofi beats while I work, and I also love airplanes, so I’ve recently been listening to this site that plays lofi beats with air traffic control tower radios playing over it.
You can even select the airport you want to listen to! I tend to alternate between ATL and BTR (Atlanta has a lot more chatter going on than Baton Rouge… shocker 😂)
Some people may find the radio chatter distracting, but to me it’s all just extra sounds that kinda stimulate my brain without distracting me. Try it out and see if you agree!
🗞 New(s) And Upcoming
🌑 Trello Dark mode! It’s not been rolled out everywhere yet but if you haven’t seen it yet, you will soon! Here’s a preview.
🎨 Placker has introduced a new board design! Learn more about it in this video.
⚡ New Multi Day select options for Schedule Commands!

💡 Use Case Idea
Use Trello to create your wishlist! May is my birthday month, and my family and partner love to get me gifts. Although they do come up with something thoughtful on their own, they’re also very generous and want to make sure they get me something that I actually want. Of course, you won’t be shocked to know that I create my birthday wishlist in Trello.
I have lists for different categories of items, but you could also use it for different price ranges or how much you want something (ie, a list for “Really Want” and “Would Be Nice”). Feel free to copy this board if you’re interested, or hey pick out something on there if you’re feeling generous 😂 (JK - you better check with my mom first).
⚡️ Featured Power-Up
Trello’s a powerful tool that you can use to build just about anything. You can even build apps in it to run your company, your blog, or your hiring process. If you want to incorporate a UI (user interface) layer while still organizing all your data in Trello, I recommend checking out Hipporello.
You can use it for a variety of things, here’s an example of a Knowledge Base.
This is a specific example of a Knowledge Base, but you can do a bunch of other things like, support tickets, employee handbooks, status pages, and more. Think about having a house for your info in Trello (where you can do all the process management, checklists, labels, comments, etc) but create a view where others can see a cleaned up version showing only what you want them to see.
That’s all for this week! See you again in two weeks!
