Something's different on the back of my cards...
New card back's coming—join the Trello Trailblazers event on Tuesday to learn more!
Happy Thursday! I love how much you all loved my moving boards! You’ve inspired me to start generating some more templates. What would you like to see?

Using Trello to manage pipeline- it's working well but I feel like I'm not using the full power of trello- want are little know tools within trello, also trying to understand Crmble.
~Tania P. Brown
Hey Tania,
One of the original use cases I wrote about Trello was for using it as a CRM pipeline! It’s a great use for that as you’ve already discovered. Here’s a few things I do with my pipeline boards in Trello (and I use Crmble too!)
Reporting
This was something I’d never cracked in Trello before Crmble, but I love being able to see the flow of things through my funnel and see what’s getting stuck where and track my overall “win” rate:
You can access this by clicking the Crmble icon in your toolbar, and then going to the Reports tab.
Checklists for follow-up tasks
The beauty of Trello is that each card is a contact, making it easy to have a single place to store everything you need about someone. But what about your tasks? That’s where the checklists come in handy.
Pro tip: I use automation to add a checklist on each card when it moves to a certain stage. For instance, when a card moves into the “Let’s Make a Deal” list (meaning I’ve got a verbal interest and we're ready to talk business), I have an automation that creates a checklist and then adds items to it. You can do this a few different ways, here’s a screenshot of one example:
Avoid anything getting forgotten or stale!
When you’ve got a lot going on, you might not proactively be going through each card in your board. You shouldn’t have to! You can discover leads that might be collecting some digital dist in a few ways.
Use Power-Ups like the Card Aging Power-Up that changes the way cards appear if they haven’t had any activity in a while.
Create automation to set due dates on cards x days after they move into a specific list
Use the filter (press F) to show cards that haven’t had any activity in a month
Since everyone responded so well to my moving templates last week, maybe the sales/lead pipeline would be another good template that I could create and walkthrough? Reply back and let me know if you’d be interested in that. Maybe I’ll even make a video walking through how to set up the automations I use for reminders and checklists!
Want to submit your question? Maybe it’ll be featured next week!

Term of the week
Board visibility: who can see the contact of your boards. Set on a board level, NOT card level or account level. There are three different options:
Public: anyone can see it, but you’ll need to share the link. It won’t show up if you google it.
Workspace visible: anyone in your workspace can see the board
Private: only you and people you explicitly add to the board can see it.
Tip of the week
If you want to share specific cards on a Trello board and not the entire board, check out the External Share Power-Up. It’s a great Power-Up to create a shareable link for cards in certain lists or with specific labels.

🍷 Pairs well with Trello
Akiflow just announced some amazing new features that are making it even more useful than it already was. Now you can get:
Aki Assistant (interact with an AI that knows your to do list - yes, that includes your Trello cards!)
Custom integrations with Trello (letting you specify what “done” means for a task)
If you’re wondering what Akiflow is an how you’d use it for Trello, check out this video I made about Akiflow for productivity.
Want to try Akiflow at a lower cost? Reply back to this email and ask me for my discount code (it’s so good, I’m literally not allowed to share it publicly!)
