[Trello Holiday Calendar] Day 4: Prevent Trell-uh-oh's!
Using Rewind's Backups for Trello Power-Up
Originally posted in the Atlassian Community by Dasha Shakov, today’s bite size Trello tip is all about saving and finding data on your Trello boards.
Check out Rewind’s Backups for Trello Power-Up because it will let you restore a Trello board to a previous state if it’s accidentally deleted or there’s any changes that you didn’t mean to happen. Like accidentally moving cards into other lists or removing data from cards. Unfortunately this doesn’t work retroactively, so my advice is to go ahead and get this power-up if you have any boards that you’d be absolutely devastated if something happened to.
For the most part though, your data is pretty safe on Trello. It’s actually pretty hard to “delete” things in Trello - because the default/initial action for removing things is archving cards/lists, or closing a board. So if you’re missing something, don’t panic right away! Head over to the Show Menu button, and look for “Archived Items” and see if you can find your card or list in there. If you’re missing an entire board, see if it’s just “closed”, and if it is, then you can easily re-open it!
