Only 7 days in and already so many gems! Today’s is a new Power-Up created by the folks at Orah Apps! This allows you to thread comments in your Trello cards. A super handy feature as it can get a bit trick to reply to all comments in the same line and keep track if there’s multiple conversations going on.
Taking it for a spin
Just added it to my board to try it out. And it’s super easy - you just add the Power-Up and authorize, then sign up for Orah Apps (takes two seconds… they only ask for email and password, no other fancy information)
And voila! Just look for the threaded comments section below your custom fields. Note - it’s NOT the same as the Trello comments section - it’s just above that.
To reply to a comment, just click the conversation bubble to the top right or click the arrow to drop down a space below the initial comment. Thankfully it supports emojis 😂, but unfortunately doesn’t look like it supports markdown just yet (although I think this might be on their radar.)
Lastly - you can’t talk @card or @board just yet (although it does look like they’re working on implementing that or at least it’s on their roadmap), but you can tag specific individuals!
Oh also, since it’s new, it looks like they’re trying to drive some feedback for it just fill out the survey on the card (you should see the prompt just above the comments!) and you might win a $50 gift card! (Takes less than 5 minutes - I just did it myself!)
