Happy Thursday! Life is kinda crazy right now - I have 9 cats and a camper 😂 Which would be a great band name, right?
Enough about me and my craziness, let’s get to Trello!

🌮 Dear Taco
This is a section where readers can submit their Trello questions, and each week I’ll pick one and answer it! It’s like “Dear Abby” but make it trello. Have a question you want to submit? Share it here.
I have a personal Trello account that I pay for premium. (I love automations and power-ups!). I also signed up for a personal free Confluence account. However, I never use this. I just wanted to investigate it before recommending it to my boss. On my recommendation, my boss created a Confluence group. Naturally, he used my work email for this. My question is, is there a way for me to link my personal Trello and professional Confluence?
Thank you!

Hey Kelli!
Unfortunately, I don’t really know a way to link accounts together, but I’ll return your question with a question:
What are you trying to achieve? Because you might be able to accomplish what you need to without an official way of linking accounts.
If you want to be able to access trello and confluence content in both tools, you should be able to embed links and view them as long as you have access to both of the items referenced.
If you want to link them because you find yourself switching accounts frequently, you might like Trello’s handy account switcher in the top right.
If you wanted everything in the same “account”, you could create a Trello account on your work email and then share those boards with that newly created account.
Reply back if this doesn’t help and there’s something else you’re trying to accomplish!
Want to submit your question? Maybe it’ll be featured next week!

i know you’ll be there. Who else???🛎️ Trello Tip of the Week
The main difference between Calendar and Timeline Views are that Timeline View allows you to view cards by date AND another dimension, like member, lists, or labels. This can be helpful if you want to sort your cards by another attribute inside of its due date. Timeline View is NOT available as a workspace view, and you cannot see checklist items in Timeline View.
💪 Featured Power-Up
Trying to connect Trello with another tool? Or make multiple boards talk to each other? You’ll want to check out Unito. I get folks ask me all the time about how to sync boards and cards together.
While there are technically ways you can build this with automation (both inside of Trello or with third-party tools like Zapier), it takes a bit of time and some technical savvy to get it all set up. While Unito isn’t a free solution (and although I do recommend it, I’ll be clear: it’s not the cheapest either), it’s going to make your life a dream if you’re trying to keep multiple boards synced or use Trello alongside other tools, like Asana, Google Sheet, Jira, Notion, GitHub, or just about any other tool.
I talk about it in great detail in my Trello book, but it’s worth exploring if you’re looking at making Trello talk with other tools.
Special shoutout to my premium sponsors!
