Last day of Team, but I think it was the best. Today was TrelloCon!
Previously, I’ve only made these recaps available to premium subscribers, but this year everyone gets to be involved, thanks to our sponsor Sendboard - Email for Trello: Organize & automate your Email in Trello. Connect any Trello board with Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo & more.
OOTD (Outfit of the Day)
Mike and I both had the whole Sendbord get up this morning, with the pants AND the sweatshirt, but im actually not sure we captured a pic of it 😂 Here’s a nice “professional” outfit with the Sendboard shirt kicking off TrelloCon!
Pre-TrelloCon
This morning we had a lovely session from Viktor Dronov, Group Product Manager at Atlassian, sharing all the new features in Trello and explaining how they work. I’m not sure it was recorded, but if I get my hands on a copy you’ll be the first to know!
We also got a special chance to interview Guarav Katari for the Jira Life (Trello Takeover edition)— I’ll let you know as soon as that recording is available.
But the headliner of today was TrelloCon!
It’s been on my bucket list to plan a conference for Trello, and today we kicked off the first ever instance of it, with hopefully only bigger and better ones to come each year!
Watch the replay of the livestream (and go ahead and skip between minutes 22-37 unless you want to watch the technical difficulties getting sorted 😂)
And here’s some pics from the in person action!
I wish we could have had each and every one of you reading this with us. It was truly a blast and has made me realize I want to do so many more of these in other cities!! Which city should we do the next one in? (Add a comment or reply to me with the city nearest you if it’s not listed in the poll!)
Coming up tomorrow
Rest 🛌
Maybe pool time? 🩴
More rest 💤
Sort out my Trello Inbox with everything I’ve captured this week 📋
Mail out swag and sticker packages! 📦
Thank you all so much for all the love this week. It’s been awesome seeing your replies and questions and feedback.
If you worry that Trello is dying, my biggest takeaway has been that Trello is very alive, and very loved, and while the product may not always evolve in the way that fits each person’s specific desires, it’s always going to hold a special place in our hearts and be flexible and robust enough to help us tackle our todos and calm the chaos around us.
I’ll be taking a break from your inbox next week so we can all recover from Team, but I’ll see you soon 💙
Sad I had to miss this! I owe you a beverage of your choice! 🫖
Charlotte, NC -- for an in-person Trello event.
