Tiny Power-Ups that pack a big punch

Testing a new format out this week. We’re a series of links in true roundup style, and when you want to dive deeper into a specific topic, just click that link and read it now or save it for later.
Also introducing a NEW section! It’s called 🍷Pairs well with Trello, and I’ll be sharing anything I come across that isn’t necessarily Trello itself, but works great alongside it (could be general productivity principles and workflows, or tools to add to your toolbox).

🌮 Dear Taco
This is a section where readers can submit their Trello questions, and each week I’ll pick one and answer it! It’s like “Dear Abby” but make it trello. Have a question you want to submit? Share it here.

🛎️ Trello Tips
Is your board overwhelming you? Go to the board menu and collapse all the lists, then open the ones you’re actively working in:
💡 Use Case Inspo
I haven’t built any new boards this week, but I did revamp my board that manages this newsletter! I keep track of links I come across each week by organizing them all in lists so I can just grab and drop in here when it comes time to send the newsletter!
You can do this, too, to keep track of resources you want to collect. Just make a list for each and then use iPhone share features, PixieBrix mods, or other automation tools to quickly the capture link to your board.

💪 Tiny Power-Ups with Big Features
Not a sponsor, but have you heard fo the Tiny Power-Ups Club?
It’s an ex-Trello developer who has built a bunch of little Power-Ups that do really cool things, and you can get access to the whole bundle of them for $10 a month (pretty average cost for even just ONE Power-Up, let alone 19 of them).
Here are some of my favorites:
External Share 👉 if you want some of your board shareable, but not all of it
Table View 👉 table view that includes custom fields and better filters
Conditional List Colors 👉 change the list background color automatically

Today we’re talking about Hoop. It’s actually built by some ex-Trello folks, so you know it’s gonna be good. I recently tried it out and I’ve really been loving it.
