Happy Thursday friends, and hopefully you’ve got a long weekend ahead of you full of relaxation and deep breaths and some delicious beverages. But to tide you over in the meantime, here’s some Trello goodness to keep you going.

New in Trello

  • Polls Power-Up just released by Tiny Power-Ups Club (see how it works)

  • Crmble adds more emails you can connect to your boards.

  • Drag and drop email contacts between fields when creating an email in Sendboard’s Power-Up

Trello How-To

This week wasn’t really a great week to feel productive for me. Felt kinda pointless to think about how to do more when I’m watching the world fall apart around me. So I actually found some ways to use Trello (and PixieBrix!) to help me cope and take positive action!

More Trello how-to from around the web

  • How to change your Trello notification settings (How I Trello YouTube)

  • Set a default value for custom field (Reddit)

  • Pin a card to the top of a list (Atlassian Community)

  • How to print a board in Trello (How to Simple YouTube)

  • Using Wildcards To Make Your Trello Automation More Flexible (Atlassian Community)

Poll of the Week

Do you use automation tools? If so, which ones? (Click on all that apply!)

  • Trello Automation

  • Zapier

  • Workato

  • PixieBrix

  • Other Browser Automation Tool

  • None yet, but want to

  • None, and don’t plan to

Creative Use Case

I’ve got a lot of travel plans coming up, and I’ve found Trello to be a great tool for keeping track of trips. I can store all my important details about reservations and confirmation numbers, and plan out activities by day. Can even get family and friends to vote on activities with the Voting Power-Up!

I detail more about how to plan a trip in Trello in this post, but feel free to jump in and started by copying the template below.

Feedback Opportunities

PixieBrix is looking for some folks who have some experience with automation and have never used PixieBrix to do a screen share of themselves going through the PixieBrix onboarding. First 10 people to submit get a $50 Amazon gift card. More details here.

(Although it doesn’t mention Trello automation explicitly, I would say if you’ve created some things with Trello Automation but never used PixieBrix, you qualify. The idea if that you have experience with no/low code automation tools.)

Thanks for reading! Let me know if you like the new format and which sections you’re most interested in!
