Hi Brittany! Thank you for the response to my button question. What I was looking for was to hide the button for everyone on that board which according to Atlassian support cannot be done. I'll have to teach everyone on that board how to hide the buttons and "hope" that there are no user errors.
On another topic, I saw you answered a question about guest users on a board. Can those guest users update and move cards on the board they are guests of?
Hey Ana, I could probably make you a mod with PixieBrix that would hide the button for users - it's a chrome extension they'd have to add that and activate the mod I built. It would basically manipulate the elements and hide that button. Let me know if you want me to make that! Should only take a minute, assuming it's the only board button on that card.
And as far as guests, that's more in response to a workspace. They'll be a normal member of the board (but if theyre only on one board in the workspace, they're a guest in the workspace). So they will have normal access. If you want to limit someone's abilities on a board, you can make them an Observer role. This will only let them view cards and add comments, but be unable to update and move cards.
Thank you! So it turns out that because the guest users were not on the boards with the button I wanted to hide, they didn't see the button anyway. I appreciate the offer, tho. :-)
